About the job
CFS is partnered with a European-based SaaS company seeking a Senior Accountant to join their US team.
About the Opportunity:
Growing software as a service company founded 12+ years ago
Own critical accounting responsibilities for the US accounting
Flexible hours and high level of hybrid flexibility in a family-friendly, international work environment
Direct exposure to US finance operations and collaboration with European accounting and controlling teams
Report to the CFO and work closely with finance teams in Germany
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
Own month- and year-end close in accordance with US GAAP
Manage revenue recognition for hardware, SaaS, and service contracts, including deferred revenue
Maintain multi-state sales tax processes across the company’s US footprint
Review department work including customer billing, accounts receivable aging, and collections
Background Expected
5+ years of senior-level accounting experience applying US GAAP, including 2+ years owning the month-end close
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or experience equivalent
Experience with multi-state sales tax and international accounting coordination
Salary Range
$110,000 – 120,000
