Accounting Manager Location: Fully In-Office – Hollywood, FL Salary: $88,000 – $105,000

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:
Oversee the Transportation Department’s multi-year operating and capital budgeting processes
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for management and compliance purposes
Track departmental spending and evaluate budget-to-actual performance across programs
Manage grant-related financial activities, including reimbursement requests and reporting requirements
Maintain compliance with Tribal policies, governmental accounting guidelines, and applicable regulations
Support the financial administration of transportation operations, maintenance activities, and capital improvement projects
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in governmental accounting, financial management, budgeting, grants administration, or related public-sector finance functions
Proficiency with ERP and governmental financial systems, including platforms such as Infor, SAP, Oracle, or similar software
Valid Florida Driver’s License required; CPA, CPFO, or comparable professional certification strongly preferred
