An industry-leading waste and recycling services organization focused on sustainability, customer satisfaction, and continued growth is hiring a motivated Inside Sales Representative. This direct-hire opportunity is for someone who’s ready to build a strong sales foundation and grow with an expanding organization. It’s ideal for an ambitious early-career professional who wants hands-on training, measurable goals, and the chance to develop skills that can open doors to future sales opportunities.

What’s the job?

Identify prospective commercial customers through research, referrals, and outbound outreach

Make approximately 40 cold calls per day and build a consistent pipeline of qualified leads

Learn customer needs, develop prospect profiles, and prepare for effective sales conversations

Guide prospects through the sales process, including presentations, negotiations, and closing

Explain service offerings and value propositions while addressing questions and objections

Maintain accurate activity records, follow-ups, and opportunity details in Salesforce or a similar CRM

Coordinate post-sale administrative tasks to support a smooth customer onboarding experience

Review performance goals and sales opportunities with the sales leader

Build industry knowledge and apply coaching to improve sales performance

What’s needed?

High school diploma or GED

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Interest in sales, business development, and relationship building

Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve

Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to manage competing priorities

Comfort with cold calling, performance metrics, and an onsite schedule

1+ year of B2B sales experience preferred, but motivated candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply

Salesforce proficiency and waste industry knowledge are a plus

Compensation: $24.00–$26.45/hour base pay, plus monthly commission
