Key Responsibilities for the DIRECTOR OF FINANCE:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and overall fiscal operations.
Manage accounting operations, close, compliance, reporting, and contract administration.
Manage financial reporting, dashboards, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
Develop financial strategies, internal controls, and risk mitigation programs
Drive long-term financial planning, growth initiatives, and organizational expansion efforts.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team while building organizational capacity.
Support business development initiatives through financial modeling, proposal budgets, and strategic analysis.
Lead modernization efforts through financial reporting, dashboards, analytics, and process improvements.
Qualifications for the DIRECTOR OF FINANCE: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5-10+ years of progressive accounting and finance management and GAAP accounting experience. Building out a team, leading and developing a team. A true heart for people. CPA, CMA, MBA, or CGMS designation preferred.
