The ICTC Global Project Manager is part of the International and In-Country Tax, Treasury and Statutory Centers (ICTC) team in the Mars Corporate Tax and Treasury organization and is responsible for managing Innovation and transformation projects successfully from New Project Request to Post Launch Review with the ambition to deliver them On Time and In Full.

The Global Project Manager (GPM) will play a critical role in efficient planning, robust Risk Management, and Engaged Project Teams and will help to establish a culture of discipline and excellence in execution in the projects assigned.

The job holder will manage several projects in parallel with medium to high complexity. Key responsibility is to assess the relevant dependencies, timings and sequencing. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of identified projects Including scope, analytic, and on time delivery.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree or related major with equivalent business experience. MBA/Master's degree preferred.

7+ years of projects management or business experience in large scale portfolio, PMO business analytics, program coordination, or a related role.

Experience in business leadership and business transformation. Highly experienced dealing with senior leaders

PMP, Agile, Lean, Power BI or related certifications

What will be your key responsibilities?

Planning / Risk Management, governance and control :

Build a feasible and efficient project timeline co-created with Project Team members.

Use a project management tool to build project timeline and ensure the data accuracy at any time.

Ensure proper follow-up with the Project Team to make sure deliverables are delivered on time.

The GPM will ensure a robust Risk Management which is also critical for a successful project delivery.

The GPM will ensure to bring visibility of project status, escalate risks & issues, make escalations at the right time and by the right stakeholders for efficient decision making.

Team effectiveness :

Maintain a collaborative, motivated, and effective Project team by actively engaging participants and identifying & escalating any challenges when needed and adapting ways of working.

Stakeholder Management :

Ensures that connections are made at the right level both at Project Team level and across Mars and segment organization stakeholders.

Manage expectations of key stakeholders and keep them apprised of significant wins, updates, or initiatives that impact their work or business.

Communication including Performance analytics and dashboarding :

Shape timely relevant project communications including clear recommendations to the different forums/SOP+ steps.

Actively build and maintain project metrics and portfolio dashboards, executive scorecards, risk heat maps, and performance views.

Set up a productive meeting structure, pre-align with key stakeholders on escalations and topics to be discussed before key meetings, and conduct regular reviews to ensure that meetings deliver the right outcomes.

Document meeting outcomes and distributes outcomes and action items - use existing project management tools to log action items for project team.

Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the team and require a higher level of discussion.

Root cause analysis and problem solving :

Drive efficient root causes analysis & problem solving with the relevant stakeholders with the objectives to bring clear options/solutions as main outcomes.

Conducts stage gate learnings sessions and post project reviews to capitalize on learnings for future projects.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
