We work directly with founder-owned businesses, private equity firms, and venture capital investors on strategic sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions typically ranging from $200M to over $2B in enterprise value. Our firm is defined by a collaborative, high-performance, and team-oriented culture rooted in integrity, transparency, and technical excellence.

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber pre- or post-MBA Vice President to join our Boston office. As a Vice President, you will lead live transaction execution, manage client relationships, and collaborate directly with Managing Directors across all stages of the M&A advisory life cycle. You will also play a key leadership role in mentoring Analysts and Associates while contributing to the firm's growth and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution: Lead day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, including deal strategy, positioning, due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiation support.

Financial Modeling & Valuation: Oversee complex financial modeling, valuation frameworks (LBO, DCF, precedent transactions, public comparables), and detailed operating models.

Client & Counterparty Engagement: Direct interaction with board members, executive management teams, strategic acquirers, and private equity investors.

Deliverable Ownership: Supervise the development of high-impact confidential information memoranda (CIMs), confidential presentation materials, board decks, and management presentations.

Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, train, and manage Analysts and Associates, conducting performance reviews and driving deal team efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience: 3–6+ years of relevant experience in technology investment banking (specifically M&A advisory), corporate development, or private equity.

Education: Top-tier undergraduate degree with demonstrated academic excellence; post-MBA credentials preferred.

Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of financial modeling, valuation techniques, accounting principles, and transaction structuring.

Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with software and SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, net retention, rule of 40, cohort analyses).

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills with executive-level presence.
