About the job
We are seeking an Accounting/AR Specialist to join a collaborative Finance team, with a focus on accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and stop-loss-related accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable and invoicing activities
Process and reconcile payments and account activity
Support stop-loss accounting and related transactions
Research and resolve payment, invoice, and balance discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Partner closely with Finance team members and external contacts
Assist with reporting and other accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in AR, billing, invoicing, or general accounting
Strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented office environment
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
Experience in insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, or stop-loss is a plus, but not required
