We are looking for Mainframe Support Engineer - Intermediate - Plano, TX

Position type: Contract to Hire

Duration: 6+ Months

Location is Plano, TX

Possible CTH, no visa

Can go over rate

Part of the Networking Mainframe group

Looking for someone with communication servers, TPX, connect direct NDM – Top 3 skills

Must be good with Wireshark

Need to be strong with deployment, problem solving

5-10 years minimum, the more experienced the better

Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical findings to more experienced management in clear, concise, understandable terms Proficient knowledge and understanding in the following key areas:

Hardware Architecture (performance testing monitoring, operations) Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management) Design (compliance, security) Network Engineering (planning, provision) Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology Executes against understanding of best practices and Business policies
