About the job
Abacus is seeking a Research Coordinator in Dayton, OH. This part-time position will provide administrative, event planning, and research support for faculty, staff, and medical students.
Schedule: 3 days/week at 8 hours/day
Responsibilities
Coordinate the annual Research Symposium, including event planning, communications, logistics, and speaker support.
Manage student travel award applications, approvals, and expense reimbursements.
Coordinate poster board and easel requests for research events.
Monitor and respond to Research Affairs email inquiries.
Assist with event coordination, departmental communications, and administrative projects.
Maintain organized records and documentation.
Qualifications
Previous experience in administrative support, event coordination, project coordination, or higher education preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email communications.
