Employer Description:

Legend Brands is a growing multi-vertical manufacturer serving restoration, cleaning, and construction professionals; performance automotive cooling markets; fish hatchery and aquaculture operations; through a portfolio of industry-leading brands including Dri-Eaz, Mediclean, UnSmoke, OdorX, Sapphire Scientific, Prochem, Chemspec, Flex-A-Lite, and Marisource.

Essential Duties:

Identify and develop new markets, verticals, strategic accounts, and business opportunities for Ready 2 Respond

Develop targeted account lists and strategies within higher education, healthcare, senior living, multifamily, hospitality/resorts, municipalities, and other relevant markets

Prospect consistently through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, conferences, associations, and referrals

Establish relationships with senior decision-makers including Presidents, CFOs, COOs, AVPs, VPs, Directors of Facilities, Campus Operations leaders, Risk Management, Housing, and other key stakeholders

Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for R2R

Conduct discovery conversations that uncover the organization's current response model, challenges, costs, risks, and decision-making process

Develop opportunities from the initial conversation through a qualified sales opportunity and handoff/close strategy

Help prospects understand the business implications of the first few hours following a water event

Position R2R as an operational strategy rather than simply an equipment purchase

Understand the customer's current restoration, facilities, insurance, risk-management, and procurement processes

Build a compelling business case around reduced downtime, reduced property loss, operational continuity, and greater internal response capability

Navigate complex buying groups and identify the individuals who influence, approve, fund, and ultimately purchase the program

Develop effective prospecting strategies, messaging, call approaches, discovery questions, and account-development processes

Identify what is working—and what is not—and continuously improve the process

Share market intelligence, competitive information, customer feedback, and lessons learned with Sales Leadership and the R2R team

Help create scalable processes that can ultimately be adopted by additional Account Managers and Business Development resources

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent educational certification

3+ years of successful B2B business development, complex sales, consultative sales, or strategic account development experience

Ability to research an organization and develop a thoughtful account strategy before making contact

Demonstrated ability to manage a sales process involving multiple stakeholders
