Role Overview
Fashion Nova Sport is looking for a bold, strategic, and culturally fluent Brand Marketing Manager to help shape how our high-growth athletic and activewear division shows up in the world. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of performance, athleisure, and streetwear, and knows how to bring brand strategy to life through world-class project management and cross-functional coordination.
You’ll lead the execution of integrated brand campaigns, athlete/fitness partnerships, and activewear product moments—ensuring everything is on-brief, on-time, and on-brand. You’re a creative, organized, and detail-oriented marketer who can manage complexity without losing sight of sports culture, fitness storytelling, or executional excellence across every channel—social, digital, influencer, retail, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign & Go-To-Market Planning
Lead 360° campaign planning and rollout for sports seasonal launches, high-performance drops, and athletic collaborations across digital, social, influencer, and paid channels
Translate division goals into actionable go-to-market plans, athletic messaging frameworks, and channel-specific briefs tailored to the fitness and lifestyle audience
Own and maintain the master sports brand marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across activewear drops, athlete initiatives, retail, and content planning
Drive internal alignment and visibility by coordinating cross-functional timelines and marketing touchpoints across sports merchandising, design, and marketing teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Content Alignment
Partner closely with Creative, Social, Influencer, PR, eComm, and Studio teams to ensure Fashion Nova Sport campaigns are cohesive across all consumer touchpoints
Align with channel leads to deliver performance-optimized, fit-for-platform content across digital, email, retail, and fitness community placements
Content & Asset Development
Brief in creative and content needs for sports campaigns, ensuring all visuals, technical performance callouts, and styling reflect the activewear brand voice and audience insight
Guide the creation of sports storytelling content, including workout/lifestyle email, SMS, site, seeding kits, and paid performance ads
Work with internal and external creative partners to bring sports moments to life in ways that surprise and resonate with the modern activewear consumer
Events, Partnerships & IRL Moments
Lead planning and execution of fitness activations, workout pop-ups, and sports events to amplify Fashion Nova Sport's presence and build deeper community connection
Manage and grow strategic partnerships with sports PR agencies, fitness influencers, elite athletes, and athletic collaborators to increase earned reach and buzz
Ensure on-brand execution at every touchpoint, from athlete seeding and gym collabs to major sporting/pop culture moments and drop events
Performance Tracking & Optimization
Own campaign reporting and analysis for sports initiatives, synthesizing learnings and providing strategic recaps for future collection planning
Monitor key KPIs and fitness consumer engagement trends, partnering with Analytics and Paid teams to drive continued growth and impact for the sports division
Identify opportunities to test, learn, and optimize across athletic formats, platforms, and sports messaging strategies
Role Requirements
5+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within sports, activewear, athleisure, or youth culture-driven consumer brands
Proven track record leading 360° brand campaigns from concept through execution in the athletic or lifestyle space
Strong understanding of creative development, sports social strategy, fitness content production, and athlete/influencer marketing
Experience collaborating across internal athletic/fashion departments and external sports media/agency partners
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
Passion for sports culture, fitness trends, storytelling, and creating activewear content that breaks through
Clear, persuasive communicator with a solution-oriented mindset
Comfortable in a high-volume, high-velocity sports fashion environment
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
