Back To Results SVP, Title Insurance Underwriter Operations Job Description Senior Vice President, Title Insurance Underwriter Operations Location: Southeast Region (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida) Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with a preference for candidates to be based in Charlotte, NC Position Overview We are seeking an experienced operational leader to oversee and drive the growth of a fast-growing, multi-state title insurance underwriter. This executive role is responsible for managing day-to-day operational workflows while developing scalable processes, infrastructure, and performance standards that support continued expansion. Working closely with ownership and senior leadership, this individual will oversee the end-to-end commercial title production process, ensure exceptional client service, and help build a best-in-class operational platform across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities Lead and optimize the commercial title production workflow from order intake through search, examination, commitment preparation, closing support, and post-closing activities. Ensure service quality, accuracy, and turnaround standards are consistently met throughout the production process. Develop and implement workflow improvements, operational procedures, and scalable processes to support continued growth. Lead, mentor, and develop operations personnel while establishing production standards, quality controls, escalation procedures, and vendor management practices. Create and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting structures, and operational metrics that provide visibility into production performance and team accountability. Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, operational planning, and execution. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions. Ensure accurate recordkeeping while delivering responsive and professional service to clients, partners, and stakeholders. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in the title insurance industry, including significant leadership experience in commercial title operations. Deep understanding of the title production process from order intake and search through examination, commitment preparation, closing, and post-closing. Proven track record of leading teams, building operational processes, developing talent, and achieving production and service objectives. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Experience collaborating directly with executive leadership and ownership on operational strategy, process improvement, and business growth initiatives. Demonstrated ability to create scalable workflows and operational infrastructure that support a growing organization.
