Your impact begins here

As Cardiometabolic Marketing Senior Manager, you will lead the marketing strategy for our cardiometabolic portfolio across Central America and the Caribbean, where markets differ in dynamics, regulation and culture. You will identify and prioritise opportunities between countries, and mobilise your team and cross-functional partners to compete harder and put consumers at the centre. Your work turns market and patient insight into growth that supports people living with serious chronic diseases.

What you’ll bring

A completed university degree.

Solid marketing expertise, with knowledge of the full patient funnel and experience activating different channels.

A background in consumer healthcare/OTC, FMCG or pharma.

At least 5 years of experience as a people manager, leading teams.

The ability to size market opportunities and prioritise investment across countries.

Experience in multinational environments and exposure to multicultural contexts.

Advanced or fluent English.

A strategic, results-driven and competitive mindset, with the ability to challenge, mobilise and inspire a team.

Customer centricity and a clear understanding of the patient experience.

Useful, but not essential

Experience in trade marketing.

Knowledge of cardiometabolic health or GLP-1.

Prior knowledge of the region.

What you’ll do

You will own the marketing direction for the portfolio and make sure every market can act on it.

Build and lead the cardiometabolic marketing strategy, adapted to each market and grounded in customer, patient, competitor and business insight.

Size market opportunities and decide where to invest across Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.

Turn strategy into business and tactical plans with clear priorities, KPIs, budgets and milestones, aligned with Sales and cross-functional teams.

Design omnichannel experiences for healthcare professionals, patients and other stakeholders, using data to sharpen impact and learning.

Lead launches and lifecycle initiatives, together with forecasting and budget follow-up for the portfolio.

Inspire and develop your team, setting high expectations, giving honest feedback and keeping quality and compliance standards firmly in place.

Who you’ll work with

You will join the Cardiometabolic Marketing team, where colleagues connect commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development to guide the Novo portfolio and strengthen competitiveness.

Your closest partners will be commercial and sales leaders across Central America and the Caribbean, alongside Medical, Market Access, Finance, Training, Trade and Omnichannel colleagues. You will also work with regional and global teams, external agencies and, where relevant, healthcare professionals and medical societies. Together you will remove barriers, make decisions faster and turn priorities into action in every market.

The role is based in Panama.

What you can expect here

You will have the scope to shape strategy across several markets and the trust to make decisions. You will grow through regional and global exposure, work with a wide range of functions, and be recognised for the results you deliver.
