About the job

Product Engineer, Platform

Department: Engineering

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: San Francisco

Description Reactor is building the inference platform for real-time world models. Our goal is to democratize access to real-time intelligence to unlock next-generation use cases in media, physical AI and omni-directional models. We already run the largest and fastest catalog of world models on the market, and work closely with all major model labs to run and optimize their world models, including Alibaba, Amazon, and NVIDIA. Our team is made of alumni from leading firms such as Apple, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Luma AI, Adobe, Stability AI, and more. We've raised $74M led by Lightspeed, with Amplify Partners, WNDR, NVIDIA, Sapphire, and other Tier 1 investors participating. Jeffrey Katzenberg, co-founder of DreamWorks Animation, sits on our board of directors.

Real-time world models generate a world while you steer it. How people use that, and how developers build on it, is still an open question. You'll be one of the people answering it, across every surface they touch: the product, model pages and demos, launches, and internal tools.

We're looking for a strong full-stack engineer with deep front-end experience.

We're in person in San Francisco.

What You'll Work On

Designing how developers work with real-time world models, from first use to production

Dashboards that stay fast with real data behind them: sessions, usage, billing

The API schemas and data models behind every feature, built end-to-end

Reusable UI components the whole product draws from

Launch pages and live demos, shipped the day a new model or partner goes live

Internal tools that save the team hours every week

What We're Looking For

4+ years as a full-stack engineer, with front-end as your strongest side

Deep experience with TypeScript and React or Next.js

You've built and maintained a production React or Next.js app with real users, including the state management, performance work and testing that come with it

You've taken a feature from data model to UI on your own: schema, API, front-end, and keeping it running in production

Strong CSS and layout skills: responsive, accessible interfaces that hold up across screen sizes

Deep relational database experience: schema design, query performance, Postgres or similar

You’ve designed APIs that other engineers and customers build on

Proven direction in UI and interaction design

Nice to Have

Developer tools or model playgrounds

Real-time features: video, WebSockets, streaming

Benefits

Salary and equity at the 99th percentile for our stage

Visa sponsorship and relocation support

Generous health, dental, and vision coverage
