About the job
Our client, a global media company, is seeking a Senior Accountant for an onsite contract role in San Francisco, CA. This position will support general accounting operations, including month-end and quarter-end close, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, financial analysis, and corporate reporting. Candidates must have at least 4 years of related accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Fusion, or a similar ERP system. Candidates with experience working within the media, entertainment, or broadcast industry are highly encouraged to apply!

Role Overview
Contract Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs
Pay Rate Range: $45-50/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
Schedule: Onsite M-F 9AM to 6PM
Responsibilities
Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analysis.
Own full-cycle intercompany accounting and reporting across multiple divisions while coordinating with internal and external business partners.
Prepare quarterly and annual reporting and perform flux analysis for balance sheet and P&L accounts.
Support SOX testing, audits, and annual tax package preparation.
Contribute to accounting projects and provide coverage across other accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience with strong accounting knowledge is required.
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to develop complex formulas, are required.
Experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Fusion, or a similar ERP system is required; intercompany accounting experience is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines and communicate status updates effectively are required.
