Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer for Deere & Company Southwest Office Building located in Moline , IL , you will be:

Responsible for delivering solutions across Enterprise Supply Management. These solutions are used both internally by John Deere personnel, and externally by suppliers around the world.

Develop and implement technical solutions to deliver on User Stories.

Assist in resolution of IT technical issues in the product team.

Establish and implement CI/CD pipelines Develop automated test scripts.

Work on a product team and supports product design by planning its work, coordinatingwith others, and writing and testing code to deliver moderately complex functionality on a complete product or significant portion of a product it supports.

What Skills You Need

3 or more years of experience with Java web development with Spring and Rest/SOAP based services.

2 or more years of modern web development experience using React and Service Oriented Architecture.

2 or more years of varied DB experience (e.g. DB2, Postgres).

1 or more years of experience with DevOps principles and lean development such as Continuous Integration (GitHub) and Continuous Delivery (GitHub Actions).

What Makes You Standout

Experience with financial applications and business processes.

Experience with cloud operational environments, preferably AWS.

Understanding of Supply Management processes.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
