Position Overview
The SWEEP Operations Analyst leads client implementations and serves as a subject matter expert and advisor on sweep products and workflows within Deposit & Payment Operations. This role assesses operational feasibility, cross-functional dependencies, and material risk; determines sweep arrangements and operational flows that meet relationship requirements; resolves complex client-impacting exceptions; and recommends automation, workflow, and control improvements. The analyst also supports daily sweep processing, reconciliations, documentation, testing, stabilization, and team cross-training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation & Client Solutions: Lead new client implementations, product or system changes, testing, conversion activities, and post-implementation stabilization. Assess feasibility, dependencies, and risk; determine appropriate sweep arrangements, product combinations, and operational flows; and support account setup validation, parameter maintenance, entitlement review, and related controls.
Advisory & Issue Resolution: Serve as a subject matter expert to Deposit Operations, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Finance, Technology, and vendor partners. Research and resolve complex exceptions, identify root causes and client impacts, and promptly communicate material issues, aged differences, and control failures.
Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze recurring breaks and manual interventions and recommend automation, workflow, data-quality, and control improvements. Support audits, risk assessments, procedure reviews, business-continuity exercises, and remediation activities.
Daily Processing & Reconciliation: Execute, monitor, and validate daily sweep processing. Review system outputs, reports, and account activity for failed, incomplete, duplicate, out-of-balance, or unusual transactions. Complete daily and periodic reconciliations, investigate differences, maintain evidence, and escalate open items.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Build and maintain procedures, desktop guides, checklists, calendars, escalation paths, and business-continuity instructions. Maintain control documentation, exception logs, reconciliation support, issue records, and management reporting, and cross-train team members.
