KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Integrity & Issue Resolution
Analyze CIF and other critical operational data and levy-processing exceptions, determine appropriate resolutions and escalation paths, and recommend control enhancements to prevent recurrence.
Perform routine monitoring, exception tracking, correction coordination, evidence retention, and assessment of workflow adherence for levy processing.
Investigate production issues through structured root-cause analysis; document impact and contributing factors, determine corrective actions, assign owners and target dates, and validate results.
Controls Design & Governance
Design, implement, document, maintain, and periodically assess preventive, detective, approval, reconciliation, and quality-assurance controls.
Develop and govern procedures, desktop guides, job aids, workflow maps, control narratives, and other operational documentation, including version control and review cycles.
Analysis, Advisory & Reporting
Guide process owners in mapping end-to-end workflows, data fields, reports, systems of record, handoffs, dependencies, and control points; evaluate alternatives and recommend effective control approaches.
Analyze recurring exceptions, losses, near misses, complaints, defects, and manual workarounds to identify trends and sustainable process improvements.
Prepare management reporting and metrics on control performance, exceptions, aging, remediation status, data quality, and operational readiness.
Readiness, Collaboration & Enablement
Support operational readiness, conversions, post-conversion stabilization, and change initiatives through risk assessments, readiness checklists, testing, issue tracking, and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and third-party providers to respond to inquiries, provide supporting evidence, and support remediation.
Facilitate training and enablement sessions on procedures, control expectations, new workflows, and escalation requirements; reinforce appropriate verification and documented evidence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, risk management, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
3+ years of progressive experience in banking operations, deposit operations, payment operations, operational risk, quality assurance, controls, audit, data governance, or a related function.
3+ years of working knowledge of banking operations, internal controls, reconciliations, issue management, and procedure governance.
Experience documenting processes, investigating operational issues, analyzing data, and communicating findings and recommendations to business and technical partners.
Experience supporting core banking conversions and post-conversion stabilization, FIS or comparable banking platforms, CIF data-integrity controls, or levy operations.
Experience with workflow mapping, control testing, management reporting, data visualization, or structured root-cause analysis methodologies.

Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to distinguish symptoms from underlying root causes.
Clear, professional business writing skills and the ability to develop concise, audit-ready procedures and supporting documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive follow-through, escalate material risks appropriately, and constructively challenge ineffective controls.
Ability to communicate complex processes to diverse audiences and translate institutional knowledge into repeatable training and documentation.
