Our client is looking to hire a motivated Staff Accountant who wants to be a part of a team and grow in responsibility. This is a great opportunity to learn about the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
Manage AP and AR activities for assigned properties within a shared portfolio.
Process approved payments and verity that checks match invoice payees and the correct paying entity.
Deposit incoming checks and apply receipts to the appropriate accounts.
Post charges and review aging information to support accurate property accounting.
Coordinate with property accounting, property management and leasing colleagues to resolve questions
Experience Required for the Staff Accountant
2+ years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
Understanding of payment processing and cash application.
Ability to learn new accounting software and processes.
Strong communication and teamwork skills when working with accounting and non-accounting colleagues.
