Layoffs, week of Sep 29 to Oct 5, 2025

Employers filed 62 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 6,646 workers, across 18 states. The week before had 19, so notices were up 43.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
