Layoffs, week of Feb 23 to Mar 1, 2026

Employers filed 74 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 6,537 workers, across 26 states. The week before had 49, so notices were up 25.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
