Layoffs, week of May 18 to May 24, 2026

Employers filed 34 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 4,575 workers, across 20 states. The week before had 22, so notices were up 12.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
