Our client is a globally recognized architecture and design studio, known for its innovative approach to aviation, rail, and transportation projects. They are committed to delivering design excellence, sustainability, and solutions that connect people to the world around them. The studio fosters creativity, collaboration, and professional growth across all levels of their team.
We are seeking a Senior Architect – Transportation to join their New York studio. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for an experienced architect with strong leadership skills and a passion for transportation design. The successful candidate will contribute to high-profile projects, from conceptual design through construction administration, and work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
The requirements of the role will include :
Minimum of 10 years of professional architecture experience
Proven experience in aviation, rail, or transit infrastructure projects
Master’s degree or equivalent 5-year professional degree in Architecture
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior staff
Proficiency in Revit and Rhino; parametric design tools a plus
Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
Experience designing net-zero carbon or sustainable projects preferred
Ability to travel periodically as required
