Layoffs, week of Aug 18 to Aug 24, 2025

Employers filed 33 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 3,814 workers, across 13 states. The week before had 18, so notices were up 15.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
