Layoffs, week of Aug 25 to Aug 31, 2025

Employers filed 22 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 2,871 workers, across 12 states. The week before had 33, so notices were down 11.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
