Layoffs, week of Jan 19 to Jan 25, 2026

Employers filed 35 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 3,991 workers, across 18 states. The week before had 42, so notices were down 7.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
