Layoffs, week of Jan 12 to Jan 18, 2026

Employers filed 41 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 5,041 workers, across 23 states. The week before had 32, so notices were up 9.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
