Layoffs, week of Aug 24 to Aug 30, 2026

Employers filed 69 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 4,853 workers, across 20 states. The week before had 83, so notices were down 14.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
