Layoffs, week of Aug 31 to Sep 6, 2026

Employers filed 69 WARN layoff notices dated that week, naming 8,348 workers, across 18 states. The week before had 69.

Counted by the date on each filing; a state can publish a notice later, so a week’s count can grow.
