We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Sourcing Manager to join our procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the sourcing and procurement activities across various categories, ensuring the organization secures high-quality materials and services at optimal costs. Your expertise will drive supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation within diverse sectors, including manufacturing and public procurement environments.

Duties

Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.

Lead vendor contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, compliance with procurement regulations, and risk mitigation.

Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply chain performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and E-procurement platforms to streamline procurement workflows and data management.

Conduct market analysis and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings.

Oversee procurement contract management activities, including drafting, reviewing, and renewing agreements in accordance with federal acquisition regulations where applicable.

Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, logistics, quality management, and project teams to align sourcing strategies with operational needs.

Monitor procurement metrics related to pricing, lead times, supplier performance, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Ensure adherence to procurement regulatory frameworks such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) in relevant projects.

Lead category management initiatives across procurement categories such as materials management, production planning, and logistics.

Requirements

Proven experience in procurement management or strategic sourcing within manufacturing.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field

Strong knowledge of ERP systems including SAP, Oracle EBS, and other e-procurement tools.

Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, vendor contract management, and supplier management experience.

Familiarity with procurement regulatory knowledge such as FAR regulations and procurement policies.

Experience with supply chain management principles including logistics, materials management, and production planning.

Proficiency in procurement category management, project management methodologies, and root cause analysis techniques.

Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.

Knowledge of procurement process automation tools and MRP systems for effective supply chain coordination.
