THE HEALTHCARE INITIATIVE

Where Talent Meets Opportunity

Director of Cardiovascular Services

Arizona | Permanent

The cardiovascular foundation is already here. Now they're looking for the leader who can help grow it.

We're recruiting a Director of Cardiovascular Services for an acute-care hospital in Arizona with significant investment already behind its cardiovascular program.

The platform includes Cath Lab, EP, Structural Heart, Interventional Cardiology and IR, with an established Cath Lab performing approximately 40–60 cases per week. The organization has invested in Cath Lab modernization and the development and relaunch of several cardiovascular programs.

This isn't a role focused solely on keeping the department running.

The hospital is looking for a cardiovascular leader who can take what's already in place and help determine where the program goes next.

The Opportunity

You'll work closely with cardiologists, proceduralists and hospital leadership to look at:

Where procedural volume and referrals can grow

How physician relationships and alignment can be strengthened

Whether workflow, utilization or operational barriers are limiting growth

What infrastructure needs to be in place as programs expand

How to develop the leadership team and create greater operational stability

How to translate cardiovascular growth opportunities into sustainable programs

They want someone who understands how cardiovascular programs grow and can partner effectively with physicians while building the operational structure to support that growth.

A Significant Cardiovascular Platform

The hospital's broader cardiovascular program includes:

Interventional Cardiology

Electrophysiology

Structural Heart / TAVR

Cardiac Surgery

Interventional Radiology

Accredited Chest Pain with Primary PCI program

Established Cath Lab performing approximately 40–60 cases per week

Continued investment in cardiovascular technology and program development

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced cardiovascular leader with:

Strong Cath Lab experience

RN or RCIS credential

Progressive cardiovascular leadership experience

Experience partnering successfully with cardiologists and proceduralists

A track record of developing or growing cardiovascular programs

The ability to lead both the operational and strategic sides of a cardiovascular service line

And professionally, this is the kind of opportunity where an experienced cardiovascular leader can have real visibility and influence over where the program goes next.

Competitive compensation, sign-on potential, relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
