About the job
Our Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Partnerships teams are often the first people a founder or business owner talks to at Mercury, and the people who help them as their company grows. Who we hire onto those teams shapes how customers experience Mercury.
We're looking for a Senior Recruiter to help build and scale those teams. You'll own full-cycle searches across our go-to-market organization, from high-volume roles like Sales Development Representatives to specialized roles in Customer Success and Partnerships. You'll partner closely with GTM leaders and hiring managers, run searches end to end, and help improve how our recruiting team operates as we grow.
This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable owning their work. You should enjoy learning a new business quickly, work well with autonomy, and care about giving every candidate a thoughtful experience.
What you'll do
Own full-cycle recruiting for Sales, Customer Success, Support, Partnerships, and Business Development, from sourcing to close
Run kickoffs and calibration sessions with hiring managers to define what a strong candidate looks like, and adjust the search as you learn
Identify and engage strong candidates through sourcing and inbound channels, using funnel data to decide where to spend your time
Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders on pipeline health, progress, blockers, and recruiting timeline
Represent Mercury to candidates, sharing our mission, culture, and what it's like to join a growing GTM organization
Contribute to recruiting processes, tools, and documentation across the team
Own offer strategy and closing for your searches
What you'll need
4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally including GTM roles such as sales, customer success, or account management, in-house or at an agency
Strong organization and attention to detail, with experience managing several searches at once, including high-volume and complex or high-priority roles
Strong sourcing skills and ability to write compelling outreach
Ability to work with recruiting data, such as pass-through rates and time to hire, to plan searches and explain trade-offs
Experience influencing hiring managers and senior leaders with data and clear communication
A track record of owning searches end to end with minimal oversight
Comfort operating in ambiguity and improving processes when they aren't working
Nice to have
Experience recruiting at a fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startup
Familiarity with Greenhouse, Gem, or similar recruiting tools
